"Under the Brooklyn Moon" is a fundraiser benefitting the Brooklyn Music School. A play on Prince's directorial debut film, this event aims to raise awareness and support for BMS' continued contribution to the Brooklyn community through performing arts education. Four visual artists will paint Prince-inspired artwork for auction during the event, accompanied by live music performances of his Grammy award winning musical catalogue. Part of the Brooklyn Music School's mission is to make high-quality musical instruction approachable and affordable. Funds raised during the event through donations and the art auction will be used to support programming and provide scholarships to deserving students in the community.
